Oh facial pain and post extraction nightmares

Hello again.

I'm starting a new thread incase anyone has the same questions/problems.
So I removed a bothersome old root canal and a wisdom tooth same time. My pain is much worse now. I wake up in the morning not too bad just a minor buzz/itch in the extraction site. I eat and it starts aching a bit more then pretty soon it's a full out ache and I want to scratch my gums off it itches so bad. Then remaining teeth on the top right all start to ache as well. Especially the tooth
directly next to the extraction, making me dream that it is in fact the problem. I'm told that everything looks great. Gums healed nicely no sign of infection via xrays. So where to go now?

Brianna knows about this I asked her. I have more questions(sorry) so I thought I'd post them and that way maybe others will benefit.

Am I just being impatient in the healing process? (I was told by one dentist the bone just needs more time to grow in)
Does it mean anything that the more I chew that side the worse it gets?
Seems almost like if I touch the premolar with my tongue just right I get this burning pain and sometimes just randomly. Making me think there is now a problem there. Any ideas?
If I prod the gums at all that will set them off to ache itch full force all day.
Also is heartburn feeling at all related to these kind of problems? I never had heartburn before.
Brianna thinks I need to clench my teeth less I'm sure she is right. Though I know the pain/itch is the reason I keep wanting to clench them. So I am very careful not to and am getting a guard made.

Hi Pam,
I never got your private message. How are you doing? and has there been any updates with your situation?

Not really Jane :).
I'm just trying to ignore it *laugh* if it gets too bad I try Oragel and crying. I'm off to try my gp for drugs next. I'm praying there isn't some kind of deep infection. I'm also hoping a night guard will help a lot I'm getting one to wear all day. If there is something wrong seems likely it will just get worse then hopefully the solution will be more obvious. I may get a debridement of the area yet. It would be nice to know for sure what's going on.

Hi Pam,

Did you have the clenching habit prior to the extraction? I thought you had mentioned that somewhere in a previous post.

Bryanna
