Need input here in clueless!
 

Hi. I've been suffering from buring upperback pain and clavicle pain for the past 4 years. I have a left shoulder that if I lift backwards it shakes and won't go any further. It hurts. I get pain in my ribs and pain in my upper chest wall area. Latest development a pulling on my left Breast also feels like from shoulder area. I just had my mammo and that was normal. I've been all through cardiology and they laugh at me and are sick of me. I apparently so they say had Lyme at one point, but the major Lyme symptoms ate now gone. I feel hopeless abd worried. Do I fit the bill for TOS? The areas I listed above are the only areas I have pain. Help me if you can thanks.

I had TOS my entire life without knowing it and never had symptoms until last year ( I am 34) so anything is possible. So anyone could fit the bill for TOS especially with collar bone pain. Do you have any symptoms in your arms?

The shortest way to go is to find a TOS specialist, schedule an app and get checked. Not much to lose. What area are you in?

Thank you. We live in small town America here, so I'm not sure one exists in my area. Would a thoratic surgeon be able to direct me. I love my primary care doc but I've given up on help with this from him.

Have you had any really good PT or any expert chiropractic assessment?

Often MD's don't mention these options, I would think the dr would mention trying some PT ... But often a general PT or rookie PT is not familiar with TOS or complicated treatment protocols..
It could become a case of rush you though a strengthening plan - no matter if it helps you feel better or not..
If it is TOS that approach rarely works and usually can make you worse..

Any work, hobbies , sports, accidents that may have triggered this 4 yrs ago?
Sometimes it helps to look back to see if any specific or accumulated activity set it off.

Have you had x ray/MRIs of cervical spine ? To rule in/out any causes from there?
