Dr. Robert Cameron UCLA
HA!
Now the defense wants me to see a cardiothoracic surgeon instead of Dr. Jordan. Anyone know of him? Wonder what Jordan, Collins, Ahn, et all think of him?? Anyone wanna chime in and PM me here? http://www.surgery.medsch.ucla.edu/t..._Cameron.shtml |
If it were me, I think I'd call up his office, see how much info I could get from his staff on his expertise with TOS. Just googling him I find NO connection with TOS - and why would there be, when they have the other top Drs who do it? Not to say he might not have done a few, but I would guess % wise it's a very tiny amount of his practise. I think you or your lawyer could argue he is obviously not as qualified or experienced. But that is only guesswork on my part.
If you know any nurses who might have worked with him or who would know of him, check with them too. Always a good source. See if you can find out IF he's done any TOS surgeries recently, what his outcomes were. And what kind of IME/QME he's likely to do. Is he in bed with w/c? I know I'm missing some other avenues, but my brain's not clicking on all cylinders at the mo. Hopfully others will reply. BESTEST WISHES! beth  |
I'd call the head of surgery at UCLA.

Yep, no info on him except he does rib resections.
will research more with your suggestions. THANKS! |
He probably can find his way around your chest but how much does he know about TOS. I'm with Beth, how much of his practice % - wise is TOS patients.
They spend more money trying to prove there is nothing wrong with people than they do trying to treat and help us get better. In the end they pay more playing games and "practicing medicine" and that is one reason WC cost employers so much. Be careful, I wouldn't trust this guy. But you are so good at not playing their games I don't need to tell you that  Hope |
