Dti mri

Hi all!!

Long time no talk... sorry... I have been trying to limit my screen time... I have been in Dallas a lot since August. I recently had a DTI MRI... this looks at the flow of fluid in and around the brain... has anyone else had one of these?

My results showed that I had 20% flow decrease around my temple and eye areas on my right side. I am going today for a spinal tap to see if we can relive the pressure on those channels and see if we can increase flow... hopefully helping with the constant headache and dizziness...

Hope everyone is doing well!!

Did your neuro say anything after getting the results? Could the reduced blood flow around the eyes contribute to your eye issues?

Let us know the results of your lumber puncture, so called residual pressure is one theory of the cause of some PCS symptoms.

Yes, that is one of the reasons we are doing the LP... she is trying to minimize tissue death so we have to figure out how to return the flow to normal...

Sarah,

Your son shares the same birthdate as my mom.

Best wishes to you and your treatment.

Bud
