exercise and Parkinson's prevention

Nothing too surprising here, but just a good reminder of the importance of exercise for those of us who may be at high risk for PD, either from genetics or from being exposed to the same environmental factors as our parents with PD. (This may motivate me to join a gym....)

I am a firm believer that exercise is not an option , but a necessity . I am signed up for Rock Steady Training Camp in April in Indianapolis, Indiana. I highly recommend their program for anyone with PD. Now back to dancing every week since I am not able to be gardening this time of year...though I did work-out some in the un-heated greenhouse yesterday...it was wonderful to be getting into the dirt with the sun's warmth baking into me. It has been so cold that I have not been even outside much, except quick dashes to feed and water the chickens, rabbits and cat and back to the cold house (where usually, the coat stays on or at least a very heavy vest and sometimes add a tossell cap. Only have 2 pumpkins left...will put one of them in to bake later and that will help warm the house some today. Stay warm you-all.
