Hi,

I have read Covey's stuff about dealing with other people.
Today was the first time I heard his calm voice.
He does a good job explaining how we make deposits into an emotional bank account in our relationships.
When we have great reserve capacity, we can take some withdrawals and still have lots leftover.

(In other words, we can annoy people or disagree with them or say "no" to them without loosing their trust -- if we have been building high trust.) :)

I have read other things by him and respect him.

What I get from him is that a little conflict / confrontation is o.k. because the two people involved trust each other.
