Dementia, or not?

The National Institute on Aging tells us:
Some conditions may mimic dementia, but are actually reversible conditions. Reversible conditions with symptoms of dementia can be caused by a high fever, dehydration, vitamin deficiency and poor nutrition, bad reactions to medicines, problems with the thyroid gland, or a minor head injury. Medical conditions like these can be serious and should be treated by a doctor as soon as possible. http://psychcentral.com/lib/what-is-dementia/000195
Dementia is by caused by changes in brain function. It takes a professional to tell us if we have dementia or a mimic. Seeing a professional might provide us with good news -- our symptoms are treatable and might be reversed.

Could these reversible conditions also cause cerebral hypoperfusion of the frontal and temporal regions of the brain, that is two standard deviations below normal?
