Had ACDF surgery Monday 2/16/2015
I have to admit that a lot of the pain that i have experienced over the past few years has seem to have subsided but now i'm having sharp shooting pain in my left shoulder area down my arm and to the middle of my middle finger and index finger. I have an appointment Tuesday with my primary care doctor and on March 5 with my neurosurgeon Has anyone else experienced this. Its to the level where i can't lift or use my left hand. Is this part of the healing or the sign that something is wrong. My disc was completely gone when they go inside (which the MRI didn't show) and also due to arthritis the bones were all ready rubbing against each other and was told that they were all ready fusing together in a unsuitable position so they had to shave the bone and reshape it. We only able to attach 2 off the screws to the metal plate due to the shape and size of my vertebra. Any help>
