walking around dizziness

after walking for 20 minutes or so i start to feel a bit dizzy. however, i do not seem to get this feeling after doing 40 minutes in the gym on the bike (heart rate average of 140). anyone have any idea what could be going on? is it neck related? eye related? anyone else experience this?

I have a similar issue.
When I take walks I feel worse/dizzy. For a long time I thought it was the over exertion, but now I know that it's my vestibular system acting up, since if I do stationary bike at higher heart rate/level of exertion I feel ok.

So far the only explanation I got is from my ENT who did a surgery on my ear, our vestibular system is screwed up and need vestibular therapy to correct this.
I've done the therapy but haven't had too much success so far, sometimes it feels worse than other times, so it's not consistent.

Taking a walk on a treadmill really makes me dizzy, I think the brain has to work extra hard to keep me in one spot on the treadmill, I have to hold the side rails to not be all over the place.

interesting. what about if you just sit down and turn your head side to side? that generates symptoms for me pretty quickly. ie 10 turns and i start to feel dizzy.

Many of us have learned that we can not turn our head to the side quickly or repeatedly. We have to teach ourselves to not do it.

the vestibular exercises that they gave me at some point (prior to the car incident) involved lots of head turning from side to side and i was able to tolerate it fine. i suppose the car thing injured me pretty severely then.
