One of my wild pets
I have a Brush Turkey nest mound on my property.
Usually lots of babies emerge from it each year. This one came inside and posed for a photo opportunity - yes, it does have two legs. . |
What a lovely 'up close to nature' moment captured.
I get that with Hedgehogs in my garden every spring - which I feed with dried mealworms. Dave. |
Kiwi, you have to keep an eye on their nests here where I live. They can spontaneously combust. They're great to have in the garden and always pecking around. Great photo. Thanks for sharing! If it had a long beak you could mistake it for a Kiwi. ;)

Birds seem to follow me a blackbird follows me around the garden no shrill alarm tweet just follows and a buzzard user to wait for myself and the girls when we were out on bikes
|
Legin, same here.
My partner (possibly unkindly... :winky:) refers to my Brush Turkeys and Possums as my menagerie. They follow me round and get regular food handouts, the Brush Turkeys at all times of the day and the Possums in the evening. |
We hwve about 4000 geese here at the moment phew glad they dont follow me about, that's a lot of guano.
