Esophoria > Exophoria

My eyes have gone from having a slight esophoria (eyes point inwards) before my head injury, to a slight exophoria (eyes point outwards) afterwards. I've been told both are completely normal on their own, but it's odd for it to change. My optometrist has given me reading glasses with a slight prism to help with the eye strain associated with this change, but I still get headaches, fatigue, nausea after spending time on the computer.

Has anyone else ever heard of this happening? Both my doctor and optometrist seem unable to explain the change, and neither seem to have ever heard of this happening before - they just tell me that there are many things we don't understand about brain injuries. There also seems to be limited mention of it on the web (or maybe I haven't searched for the right thing).
