They are. On October,2018 they plan on putting a much more powerful telescope in space. The telescope is called the James Webb Space Telescope, and it's much bigger, and more powerful, and will have a different orbit. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I have a special solar filter to look at the sun directly. I want to see a eclipse. When I look at the sun with that filter,it looks like the moon. I bought it online for about 15 dollars. I still don't look at it to long. I don't stare at the sun with this device to long. Our eyesight is presious, and I want to keep it that way. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Here, it was visible in late morning. I slept through it.:Doh:And several hours past it.:o:rolleyes: I could not have looked at the sun, but I would have liked to have seen the light turn red outside. Sigh. I was outside in a total one when I was little, maybe 7 or 8. Suddenly it got dark and but for this eerie reddish glow. Kinda scary but also cool. I remember I was glad when the sun came back. |
