Nucynta

Okay, I have SFN with some autonomic involvement.
The pain management is prescribing nucynta.

Anyone have experience with this one.

The side effect list has me really afraid.

I am in so much pain though...

Awaiting some good suggestions.

One of our long term members here was on Nucynta...but I don't know if he still is.

This is a cousin of Tramadol, you know, only stronger.

You might try asking on RSD forum here.

We don't see this very often, and I am no longer working so I don't see the patients or talk to them anymore for that input.
Sorry.

Currently on Nucynta

Hey there! I am currently taking Nucynta in its extended release (ER) form along with Horizant ER for my neuropathy pain. I have found it to work well for the persistent pains and to reduce the intensity of the break-through pain. I also have Behcet's Disease and when I am having a flare up my pain levels can still get pretty high regardless of the meds. But for the normal, day-to-day pain, it has been working well for me. I hope that you have good results with this med and get some much needed pain relief. Best of luck!

Regards,
SFN Warrior
