Coconut oil

I read somewhere about the benefits of coconut oil taken orally and used to massage into the feet and hands. Has anyone here used it and did you see any results?

I do rub it into my hands and feet. It helps just a little, but enough to do it.
I no longer can tolerate any type lotion (not sure why). I am down to coconut oil and olive oil.

I have used coconut oil daily for about 6 months. I cook with it every day and my stomach is better (IBS, stomach problems from neuropathy I think. Either way, my stomach is better and this is one f the things I changed after IBS, numerous food sensitivities became bad enough. I use it for my hands every day and it makes the skin a bit softer as it does with my feet. I have small fibre neuropathy pain at its most severe on tops of my thighs. This is where I have really bad dry changing skin. Here, the coconut oil does not go down well at all. E45 lotion is however ok so dont get why as thought coconut oil is totally pure substance. For dryness of skin everywere else where there is no pain it has helped.
