Chronic stress!!!
Hi,I'm new to this community and have found it a great help knowing that I'm not alone in being landed with life changing medical issues, I'm currently dealing with a severely damaged ulner nerve either in my neck or more likely my elbow, this is causing me a lot of stress as the damage looks to be permanent,can anyone recommend something to chill me out until my Mri results come back and a time for my op ....

The first is a link to my Simple Meditation Techniques Thread: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread215669.html Just follow the link and start off with the basic, but powerful, Breathing Meditation. Just 5-6 minutes to start with in a quiet, peaceful room to help strengthen your mind. Many here use some form of Meditation to help their coping mechanism. Secondly, stroke your lovely dogs. It has been proven that for pet owners this is a great stress reliever - and your dogs will love it. Dave. |
