Elastic shoe laces - why did it take me so long

Went to the shoe store that I buy my shoes from to talk about my orthotics and new shoes. Its one of those old fashioned places, same owners since 1977 so its almost like stepping back into time.

The owner changed the laces in my shoes to elastic shoe laces and what a difference that little bit of extra room makes.

Why didn't I try these sooner !!!

Yep, I agree, and I use the curly ones.

Here is a wonderful site for feet... they offer the alternative
lacing patterns to help people with various foot problems.

Try looking around that site...it is a wonderful learning tool.
The anatomy of the foot helps to visualize the various pain generators, and you'll notice many of the nerves go right thru
the top of the foot. This is why Lidoderm patches work well there as well as the magnesium lotion.
