can concussions be treated with infusions?

I didn't find a thread where this was already discussed. Do intravenous infusions improve the brain healing? I was in the hospital two times, but no doctor suggested this treatment.

What kind of intravenous infusions would be used ? Progesterone has been tried and thought to have promise but research proved otherwise.

I don't know what kind of infusion. My thought was that there might be medications that improve the healing.

There has been study of using DHA/EPA infusions of some type. They still do not fully understand the mechanism of injury. I just read an article about ICP and TBI. It appears that infusions need to be very carefully monitored as they can cause changes in Intra Cranial Pressure resulting in dangerously elevated ICP and decreased blood perfusion. It would require an ICU level of care to be safe unless the infusion was a single bolus with a low volume of saline. Currently, there is not a simple med that helps with mTBI.
