Why do you deny my right as an injured worker to recieve my meds
Are you trying to break me, create more hardship drive me out of my head.

You once stated I wasn't that disabled
my pain is subjective, that fce showed I am stable

You deemed I was able to work
Not at my chosen trade, but as a clerk

I wish you could walk a day with me
to feel the pain,shame and then would you see?

Do you have a sister, wife or mother?
How would you feel if I was your significant other?

Then would there be some compassion and care
Wouldn't you try everything possible to be there

Please do whats right
to help all injured workers have a better life

What would you do
If one day a work accident happened to you?

One day life is normal, every things ok
But now you look at your future with dismay.

Your new world consists of many fears
confusion,anger and endless tears

Reaching out for some compassion and care
the door closes, there's no more help here.

Living with chronic pain every day
How am I too go on this way?

Your trying desparately to cope
While your quality of life hangs like a rope

Remembering the life you had before
unjust decisions made. I deserve more

One more treatment to try
But for today, just let me cry

How would you feel, if your world was not the same
Where your treated like your useless, a face with no name
