t11,t12 disc sequestration.

Hello everyone.I will briefly explain my situation. My first symptoms started like 3 years bck..mild pain over my mild back and lower back, lower abdominal pain and groin area pain...The pain was on and off..but for past 6 months the pain is continuously there and legs going weak...so i went to an orthopedic surgeon and he did an piriformis release because he thought that was the cause...But no improvement at all... infact it got worst..Then i went and saw a spine surgeon n he took an mri of my spine...he said i have a sequestrated disc at t11,t12 spine which is exerting pressure on the cord..he said i might need to go for a surgery..but i was not keen for a surgery so i did go for a second opinion to few more spine surgeons and all of them said that i need an surgery...anyone here having same problem like me?can ull pls suggest me some alternative treatment...im unable to do my daily task properly...im under great depression too..hope to her from ull soon..regards tinesh..:icon_frown::frown:

did you see these from PubMed -

I wonder if Low level laser therapy (LLLT also called soft laser or cold laser) might be helpful for the pain and healing aspects? Might be something to seek a practitioner that has one to see if it helps.

So how did this come out? Anybody still around from this thread?
I do have similar symptoms. Bulging disc on the same level. More severe symptoms, including paralysis and some loss of bladder control.
Too soon after surgery to say if it helped yet but I am getting better. Stitches/staples out tomorrow. Yay.
BTW, Staples have a LOT less itch than sutures.
