Tommy always says that to me
Every time I see him
It's some big joke
To him
I really would like
To do it though
Only, not with Tommy
To him, I would have
To say no
I'd just like
To pack my bags
And, book a flight
All the way
To the beautiful
Hawaiian Islands
I could walk on those
Black, sandy, beaches
And, look for seashells
Wouldn't it be nice?
To run away
Today?
I would LOVE
To do that
I really have no
Obligations here
No mortgage
No car payments
No children
None to worry about
Anyway
My daughter could
Find me
In Hawaii
I could probably get
The money too
I'd just say
It was for a vacation
Only, I wouldn't come back
A sigh escapes my lips
