Sore throat/glands

I've been trying to research this question but haven't really found an answer...I might be looking for something more when the answer is simple...but here goes...

I'm on LDN and one of the side effects is a sore throat/gland...as we know a bacterial sore throat isn't treated as a viral one; would one caused by medication be any different?

I'm doing usual, warm drink, hydration, etc and it's still lingering...on and off....

Thanks for any input.....:grouphug:

PS, then again I am wondering if it's just a flare up/CRPS; Because I have the stinging down my chest and in my stomach with it....

A common cause of your symptoms is GERD.

Refluxing at night burns all the way up to the mouth in some people.

You can discuss this with your doctor.

You can also ask on the MS LDN thread...those members are mainly the ones using LDN on NT.

Um, I don't think it's GERD....you might be right, however I had acid reflux before and this is different...the pain is mainly in the glands....and it's during the day I have the stinging sensations....but thanks this is really something to look into....

I agree - prior to taking LDN I had a sore throats from reflux, but this is way different. This is significantly swollen lymph nodes in my throat, and I have that burning sensation in the am when I wake up, and sometimes in the evening??? I'm only on .5mg but I've been on it for 14 days. Started about day 5. I also have head/neck stiffness, but not consistently. Good luck! I'm thinking about playing with the time I take it. I don't know.
