Welcome...sorry you're experiencing such strange symptoms. First off, I'd go to my pcp to get checked over...then, if that doc thinks a visit to a neurologist is in order, that would be the next step.

There are many disorders that have similar symptoms, so with diseases like MS, it's a process of eliminating other diseases and having other revealing signs such as lesions in the brain and/or spinal column.

Keep a symptom journal with dates of onset and dissipation, and also a list of questions for the docs.

Hope you find an answer...

Welcome Ry.:).
Your symptoms could be signs of MS or possibly other illnesses, as well.
Debbie gave you the best advice. See your trusted general Doc and
see if he will most likely, refer you to a good Neuro., who will, hopefully,
help you get to the bottom of it.

Let us know how it goes and let's hope it is just something temporary
and harmless.:grouphug:

My god man, you might be having a stroke!

i would get in to see your pcp at the earliest opportunity and let your dr do a physical exam to assess your condition.

if your symptoms get worse go to a free standing clinic or your local ER to make sure it's nothing serious.

let us know how you are.
PS...welcome to NT.

I have had many of the same symptoms. Don't hesitate to visit your local ER. I suffered migraines everyday for a few years. The doctors were concerned about stroke. I have had the complete gamut of tests for MS. All but the brain MRI ruled out MS. My neuro follows up with an annual brain MRI every year to check for any changes. It appears that my official diagnosis (3 doctors agree) is Fibromyalgia. Don't let your symptoms become a common part of your life. Keep pushing for answers, but first make sure you are not having a stroke.

Wishing you the best.

This doesn't really shout out as MS to me, you would most likely have had quite a definitive relapse being a male (I'm 32/M had MS since I was 17 but doing fine) however the disease can be random.

The best way to tell is shoot up some nuclear reactive dye and get an MRI scan done =)

Remember a 'Relapse' is defined as a symptom which occurs for more than 48 hours, without any remission. It can get worse. To be diagnosed, you need two documented attacks, these can be simply documented verbally with an MRI scan to back up the verbal talk.

This will be a very important part of your diagnosis phase as it basically relies on you telling them about the relapses, along with having scans to prove it. Bam.

Although you can be dxd with clear MRIs based on clinical signs . I am proof of that.
