The humble blueberry, another of Nature's bounty that turns out to be more than a Superfood.

My daughter has insulin resistance due to/connected with a syndrome that affects hormones. She's been keeping it at bay the past couple of years with increased exercize and careful diet.

I've been buying blueberries at every shopping trip for around 5 months now. I don't eat them at all anymore and leave them for her as they're so expensive here. They cost approx $4 for 125g (that's just over 4 ounces) per punnet. ugh

I try hard to keep my sugar down, so I tend to keep my fruit low- daily banana, apple every other day, but I think blueberry is finding its way in.
