Baclofen withdrawal

Hi! I'm a 59 year old woman, who because my spine was nicked in abdominal surgery, was put on Baclofen as a muscle relaxant before it was found my spine had been infected with an antibiotic - resistant bacteria. I have taken myself off all the narcotics and now tackling Baclofen. It very much resembles a benzodiazepine from which I am also withdrawing but not concurrently with the Baclofen. I will do Baclofen first before tapering the remainder of the benzo. I'm quite active in community of psych drug withdrawal but can find nothing at all of personal experience with baclofen withdrawal. I'm told it should be a reduction of 5-10% per each cut. I've been doing a bit more but don't want to encounter any more nasty surprises than I already have, all of I seem to be "coping" with. Anyone with experience with this drug, may I ask for any info you might have to add. Thank you so very much! [emoji1]

Hello sunset,

Welcome to NeuroTalk!

I just ran a search there for "baclofen withdrawals" and came up with a few posts. You can search the forum by using the Search This Forum button at the top right of the threads or you can use the Full Forum Search feature below...
