cervical spondylosis and cervical nystagmus ?

I"ve been dx with cerv. spond. by a neck x ray, my insurance didn't approve a neck MRI they want me to do 6 weeks physical therapy. But when I bend my neck down, my vision becomes blurry ( been to eye dr. eyes are ok ) and sometimes it feels like my eyes go from side to side. So I was wondering if anybody is familiar with cervical nystagmus ? that' s when there is a compression of the arteriae vertebrales. I'm afraid with the physical therapy it will become worse. Should I see an ENT also ? my neurologist sent me for the MRI , and I will have MRI of the brain, but not the neck.

Yes, see an ENT....also ask about an MRA along with the MRI and see if it makes sense for you. BTW, the vertebral arteries extend the length of the neck (hence "cervical" nystagmus)....so why not the neck too? There is also something called benign paroxysmal positional nystagmus (BPPN).

I saw an ENT , had vestibular testing, waiting for the results, but I think they going to be ok. Had the brain MRI, waiting the neurologist to call with the results ( she always takes her time, it's been a week since the MRI !), but I have the copy of the report and don't see anything wrong. Started the physical therapy, will see, insurance doesn't let me have the neck MRI.
