Migraines and post concussive syndrome
Hi! So 2 years ago a boat fell on my head at crew practice (I was in 8th grade). I still haven't recovered, nor have I been able to go to school since. Last April, I started having chronic migraines. In the past year, I've been hospitalized 4 times (and to the ER 3+ times) because of unbreakable migraines. I am incredibly lonely, since I spend most of my time curled up in a ball on the couch in a dark crying because my head hurts so much. None of my friends understand, although they try to, which is why I love them. Anyways, I am on a new migraine medicine called Maxalt and I was wondering if anyone else is taking it/if it works. I honestly can't tell if it's working. It makes me feel very strange and almost numb. I can't tell if my migraine has gone away when I've taken it, and I don't know if that's because it makes me feel drugged, or if it's purely the medicine making me feel strange. I've never felt this with any other medicine before, so help/feedback would be appreciated<3
