Hello fellow members :)

My name is Mel, I'm 34 years old, I have two amazing kids and I'm from Australia, I was diagnosed with MG in early 2009 and I had thymectomy 6 months later, my symptoms mostly breathing issues cleared up greatly post thymectomy but unfortunately the 18 months or so my symptoms have started to return, I get the breathing difficulties but also weakness in my arms and major fatigue. Taking mestinon and also receiving Intragam Kiovig IVIG monthly. Anyways really just wanted to say hello, I have been a regular visitor reading all the posts and finally decided to become a member. :grouphug:

Welcome! Glad you posted. Have you and your neuro discussed any other treatment options?

Hi Mel ... welcome to the Forum. I'm new to Mg and to the Neuro Talk board, too, and find the questions and responses to be very illuminating. It's comforting to be in the company of others experiencing like challenges. I hope you find the help you are looking for.
