symptom lag time

Does anyone experience a lag time before they experience the onset of their symptoms?

Last week I felt quite good, and pushed my self more than I have in a couple years :). On Thursday, I felt comfortable enough to ride the exercise bike for an hour or so and use some machines at the gym. However, I started to feel worse the following evening and much worse on Saturday.

So do any of you experience this lag, or do you mainly feel crummy right doing something strenuous?

For me it's a bit of both. However, if I already feel crummy, I am more likely to be affected immediately after or while doing something.

100% my exact issue in regards to traditional return to play / exercise. Often I get asked post exercise how do you feel, and slightly different maybe, same symtoms as before. It would be hours later or the next day when it would catch up with me

It was awfully confusing for me to figure out. I know this isn't much for advice. But I know exactly how you feel

On the days that I have more energy I feel a lot more comfortable in my own skin. I feel like I could perhaps work a steady job 30hrs week. Sadly I experience maybe 2-4 days like that a month.

Hopefully, I'll experience more of those days as I become more aware of the tradeoffs and negative consequences of pushing myself. However, I think a lot of it is outside of my control...

Maniac,

Exactly how I feel. I can feel sort of normal at times and every time I exert myself some the next day starts to be awful for a couple of days.

It becomes very frustrating to someone who has been a routine exerciser and ski both water and snow when now I can't even take a walk without some form of punishment. It is so confusing on what to do to help yourself!

Yes. I had a hard day Monday - first day back at work. Tuesday I felt great. Today (Wednesday) was not so good.

The fact that you felt good yesterday is a good sign!!!:)

If you continue to experience fluctuations in your symptoms, consider removing a few activities or errands from your schedule.
