Septoplasty with PCS

Hi!

I'm having a nasal surgery to correct my deviated septum after many years of not being able to breath through my nose. This might sound stupid, but is it a good idea to proceed with my surgey while still having PCS symptoms?

They're gonna put me to sleep, I don't know yet if it's by twilight anaesthesia or general anaesthesia.

It depends on how your system tolerates the anesthesia. Some of us are more sensitive than others. It takes me quite a while to overcome the anesthesia. I have been considering a similar surgery but I know that I do not tolerate anesthesia very well.

I suggest you talk with the anesthesiologist. From what I understand, it is done under general anesthesia. There are different drugs that can be used.

Let us know how it goes.

My best to you.
