Septoplasty with PCS
Hi!
I'm having a nasal surgery to correct my deviated septum after many years of not being able to breath through my nose. This might sound stupid, but is it a good idea to proceed with my surgey while still having PCS symptoms? They're gonna put me to sleep, I don't know yet if it's by twilight anaesthesia or general anaesthesia. |
It depends on how your system tolerates the anesthesia. Some of us are more sensitive than others. It takes me quite a while to overcome the anesthesia. I have been considering a similar surgery but I know that I do not tolerate anesthesia very well.
I suggest you talk with the anesthesiologist. From what I understand, it is done under general anesthesia. There are different drugs that can be used. Let us know how it goes. My best to you. |
