Neuros can be helpful or completely useless. It depends on the symptoms and the neuro's knowledge and interest.

What symptoms are you hoping the neuro can help you with ?

cheek and jaw shake/spasm when i sit still. when i start moving around my head will start to shake. if i really get moving my arm/hand on the right side starts shaking. thats the physical stuff at this time. the shakes have moved from my leg to my head/neck/ arm on the left side.

mentally im forgetting things, especially things i just did. not just forgetting a task, but the whole "block" of time is gone. maybe just 30 seconds to a minute or two. i dont black out or have seizures. ill be driving home and take the wrong exit, like i forget where i am.

i have had more than 15 concussions, most in the last 10 years. never took time to let them heal. had doctors tell me that if i did not see stars there is no way that i had a concussion. one was result of a car wreck, another was a result of a bicycle accident. others were just from hitting my head at work. ive had "episodes" where i realize i dont remember the last three days after a head impact. go see a doctor after i realize it, and they say that it is too late to determine if i had a concussion, so there are some that i did not go to the doctor for.

the last one was in january. the one before was about a year ago. hit both times in the head while working. i work on cars, and the lift is right at that height. i remember both, never lost memory, was just somewhat foggy, irritable, dizzy and confused. the one before was october 2013. that was the bike incident.

i worry that there are more concussion type times that i havent remembered. seems that my mind just goes into a back up mode, and i just do not realize what is happening.

Sounds like you may be having a form of absence seizure when you lose track of what is going on.

I hope you are seeing a good neuro, not a garden variety one. You need someone who will dig to figure out what is going on.

Have you considered filing a Work Comp claim ? The combined head impacts are likely causing your struggles.

Those doctors who said a concussion must have a 'seeing stars' moment have not be well trained. But, taking time off would not have made much difference long term.

You might ask for a DTI MRI. The neuro may suggest an EEG.
