I believe OPC's can help everyone

OPC's are pycnogenol, grape seed extract, resveratrol, astaxanthin no matter what their health conditions are. Maybe 1/2 of 1% population know about these OPC's...

IF ONE IS ON BLOOD THINNER DRUGS, THEN CANNOT TAKE BOTH, ONE OR THE OTHER. TALK TO YOUR MD OR PHARMACIST ETC....ABOUT THESE OPC'S FOR YOU. MANY DOCS DON'T KNOW, SOME PROBABLY DO. INTEGRATIVE MD'S AND NATUROPATHS DO KNOW.

I started on OPC's in 1995, so headed to my 20th year in Sept 2015. My main reason back then to get on Pycnogenol was they "MAY" prevent cancer...so far so good, I'm 77 soon.

Everyone I know personally taking OPC's have improved health, young and old. My 93 yr old bridge friend has been on grape seed ex now for about 5 yrs, ran it by her pharmacist and he said YES, she takes a heart med. She runs circles around me, she never had a joint replacement, the hip job made my life so worse.

Just listening to my NPR radio and a segment on cancer and drugs, etc with MD's discussing new clinical trials coming on. TO never have to go there, good grief. Never a mention of OPC's of course. Chemo drugs, Surgery, Radiation that is conventional medicine way of treating cancers.

BTW: One can google cancer research centers like city of hope, mayo, kettinger, univ of maryland and find these OPC's used in their research.

I just sent an email to the radio station to give them advice on POSSIBLE PREVENTION of cancers. As I said so so few know.

I've seen plenty of deaths in my time cancer included. Not good. But the worst ever that I have seen, bar none, is diffuse systemic scleroderma. The very worst. :Sob:

Kitt, Over a lot of years on health groups and battling my stuff, I was on a group primarily of auto immune conditions: RA, Lupus, Scleroderma and I'll never forget this one man with Scler....talked forever about how abx therapy kept him sane and alive with his issue...this is a Dr. Brown's abx therapy: low dose, long course for these issues.

I still check in there sometimes and he's still there talking about his path and Scler...

This is also the group that introduced me to higher dosing of MSM powder and I still take it for many years now...it does calm pain.

My sil did not "buy into" supps so he never considered OPC's

My good friend is on OPC's one month longer than me, we both attended the lecture and she jumped on them pronto, I waited a month to get onboard...that was Pycnogenols...

She is 71 and both us are cancer free. And never sick.

A pet story: My neighbor's cat had been given the cancer dx some years ago and she knew I took grape seed ex, so I suggested she give tommy grape seed ex and he got another year of life, she said he was like a young cat again for a year. Vets do give them to cats/dogs/horses (I think too).

There are a number of types of scleroderma. Diffuse systemic scleroderma is the worst. Death is imminent. There is no treatment for this one.

I didn't realize that Kitt, just like MOST nasty health issues. I once met a friend of a friend about 20 yrs ago and she was probably 40something at the time, she is gone. I don't know how many yrs later as she was my friend's friend and we were on opposite coasts.

My neighbor is working so hard to deal with RA w/out the hard drugs..time will tell if she can make it. I may give her a gift of grape seed ex, it sure can't hurt. She's on such a fixed income.

Just a few of my OBVIOUS supports from taking OPC's...

No more allergy/sinus issues.
No colds/flu for MANY years...no vaccines either.

Improved gum health, years before taking OPC's I had "pockets" in gums,
no more.

Eye health is good for my age, same scripts for the last 8 yrs, no change.
Was told years ago I had some "cloudy" issues but I'm fine...I see good enough
with my scripts for reading and distance.

No brain fog ever, hear this problem from so many.

Moles/brown spots reduced.

And so far so good re: cancer issues.

@caroline2: I found Shaklee Vivix, a muscadine grape extract heavy in resveratrol, helped my RA a lot through pregnancy when I had to minimize my RA meds. It's kind of pricey but it was worth every penny to me.

Also, ask your friend with RA if their Vitamin D blood level has been checked. Even moderately low, but normally acceptable Vitamin D blood levels in prope with RA can make their RA pain much worse.
