Chest pain.
Hello I had a seizure last Saturday (30th May).
I was in a shop and came over all dizzy and starred to walk around in circles my boyfriend asked me what I was doing but I couldn't control my movements nor could I stop myself. He told hold on me then I fainted he put me into the recovery position. I bit my tongue, foamed at the mouth, went white and my lips went blue and also wet myself, all (except foaming) has never happened before. It lasted 10 minutes a lot longer than it usually does. I woke up the next day with pains in my upper chest which goes down into my left arm at times and if I lean back the pain takes my breath away, it's now Friday and it seems to be getting worse rather than better and my left side where my ribs are looks swollen. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you know what could be causing the pain and discomfort? Thanks in advance x |

Hi Tammi-lou,
Welcome! There have been times when I have had a sz. and I fall and hit the floor and I'm out of it for a couple of minutes and I'm sore afterwards. If you are having arm and chest pain it could be a problem with your heart also and that in turn can sometimes trigger sz. My advice to you is to see your Dr. immediately and have them do a E.K.G. and an MRI on you to make sure nothing more is going on inside your heart and brain. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You! Sue |
Hi Tammi-Lou,
Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups. :) I agree with Sue. You really should go to the doctor to figure out the cause of the pain. It's possible you've merely bruised your ribs when you fell, but you also could have broken a rib or have some type of heart problem that started the sequence in the first place and are still having symptoms from that. Please go see a doctor as soon as possible and let us know how you're doing. take care. |
