deleted a PM by accident....

I somehow deleted a PM I just received rather than viewing it. I did not get the chance to read it or see who it was from. I was having some trouble with my vision today.

Is there any way to restore the last PM sent to me without any of you having to jump through hoops?

I just feel bad that folks generally send PMs when needing to ask something of a personal nature and I would feel terrible not replying to someone. I apologize that I was trying to use the forum when my vision was so blurred. I will be more careful in the future.

Thanks, D.

Hi Diandra,
I'm sorry you're having a bad vision day. Hope you're ok there.

Private messages can't be restored as far as I know as we don't have any access to your private messages - inbox, sent or deleted. Once they're deleted they would be gone.

Hopefully whomever sent it to you will see this and send you another one. I'm sure they'll understand.

You might post about the accidental PM deletion in your usual forum/s, then if any members there sent it they will know, that if they don't get a reply from you to try again..

But if they get deleted , they are gone... we have no way to recover them...

For future reference, you are also able to set your options to receive email notifications of PMs, which will copy the PM into the email notification.
