Essential oils externally for neck pain ?

Anyone tried to use essential oils externally for a neck pain ?

I use essential oils and mix them with some of my topicals. but neck pain is the least of my pains, I do have OA in my "old" neck but move it etc. Topricin is a very good topical with a lot of homeopathic solutions which are directed to many various pains. I would not be without Topricin.

I make up my own toothpaste and use clove and myrrh oils in my TP. So yes I believe in essential oils and have learned to work with them. Sure can't hurt to use an oil on your neck pain.

I have RSD/CRPS and like frankincense oil. it comes from the same thing as boswellia,. I believe its anti-inflammatory. they make neuropathy oil that has it.
worth lookin into. I hope you feel better. I have a lotta neck pain too and know it sucks. getting the muscles warm and gently stretching can be good at times (then maybe the oil after!).

I've got a renewed interest in Tea Tree Oil and finding it's helping with OA pain and use it in carrier oils and other topicals I use....gives me added pain relief.

I have a separate post here on Tea Tree Oil.
