Foul smell related to Lamictal?

hi I am on very low dose( currently 50mg) of lamictal for mood swings. this winter I increased it for help with mood.
About a month after doing so, I began to get a very foul musty smell I could not get away from. That no one else can smell. So I lowered it and the smell went away. Then a few weeks later the smell returned. So I lowered it again. The smell went away again. Something I began to correlate to my body saying the lamictla was too high toxic even at such a low dose or causing the smell for some reason.

The smell returned this past weekend. I am pondering the same thing. My Specialist said she has never heard of this, but gave me the okay to reduce again.

My question is, has any one expereinced bad smells that are med related and NOT related to having a seizure.
Does this sound like a side affect that one never finds anywhere? Just very curious, as the smell is that bad.

Look forward to hearing from others hopefully.
Peace, Cedar

Has anyone expereinced this with lamictal? If so do they know what causes it.

I take Lamictal (for seizures). I haven't been on it very long, but I randomly smell an onion smell but it is UP my nose (if that makes sense). Like, if I rub my nose I smell onions, it's kind of gross. :(

My Epi is currently wanting to look into my medicine because I started to have 2 minute bouts of Tinnitus followed by a nose bleed. I personally think it's because I did a lot of cleaning and got some dust up my nose.

However, the onion smell didn't start until I started on Lamictal. I take 100mg pd.
