Essential Oils

Does anyone use these for headaches or anything else just curious I have terrible sinus pressure all the time curious if anyone use them for anything else??

Lara 07-03-2015 06:39 PM

Hi NoVoice,
I use them in an oil burner almost everyday wafting through my living areas.

I used to own a whole kit that was a gift. Came in a beautiful wooden box, filled with different essential oils and a chart for specific uses. I use them for stress mostly :p

These days I tend to just use a lavender or a jasmine oil. Sometimes mixed. Sometimes I'll put a few drops of eucalyptus oil.

You can find charts online if you're looking for specific oils and uses.

edited to add: I try to buy really good quality ones when they come on sale.
I have bought certain types of lavender for example that just wasn't up to standard.

hello no voice

there are a lot of essential oils out there but you must be careful about how pure they are some are better then others never use them with out mixing with a carrier oil as they are very strong I make a lot of products with essential oils and they work really well lavender is good as is Roman chamomile

Mari, I'm very fond of Lemon Balm (Melissa).
I didn't know about it very much until a friend from NT told me.
I haven't tried the oil yet but I buy the leaf/tea to drink from the US and it's very relaxing.

I would like to know what ones would be good to mix for a sinus pressure mix I know lavender and lemon essential oil and pepermint is good to use but I was curious is there is other ones to use I have a diffuser that I use around my house I have several but look more of a different mixture if possible with different mixture ones that kick in and heal the eyes also as my eyes seem to be bloodshot all the time aka dry all the time along with my throat seeming to feel like there is mucus in it all the time if there was something for that any help in those areas where anyone that has seen results with essential oils would be wonderful i know books and internet tell you and trust me I have done it all but I want real results Im not getting results its stressing me out. Im on so much medication its crazy from doctors trying to go the natural route if possible that is why Im asking these questions sorry to bother

I have some things I make that do not go in burners but you rub on and it works great the dryness of your eyes maybe coming from using the burners all the time

I like the smell of lemon oil ... It seems to make me relaxed and happy.

I take Oil of a oregano tablets for any indication of sinus trouble. I use Gaia brand. Not sure if this is an essential oil. I'm not inhaling it. I'm literally buying it in a capsule and taking it by mouth. Works wonders.
