Neuro newby
I am so grateful to find a place to ask questions. Iam a Registered Nurse but dont have all the answers. I just got out of hospital--I knew they would admit me/ ataxia worse at night or when tired/stressed--look drunk. Slurred speech, I can walk/drive but difficulty waolkinng in evening. I have spent a lot of time correcting this cuz my typing is off--L side effcted worse than R. Husband has to help me up.down stairs--Feel like Im shaking inside. All Cat scans head neg, MRI brain, neck and sping neg. Genetic tests being done but it takes 50 days so I asked my neuro to plz do a ct scan of the chest in the mesntime or lumbar puncture or emg studies--dO SOMETHING !!cuz in the meantime-not knowing is awful--also my breathing is short of breath and if I just stand long enough to cook dinner-Im done. I wwas at the gym 3 months ago but noww neuro said no. I had a ton of labs and acetylcholinne was 15..Is that indicative of myesthenia gravis ? Neuro mentioned Guillian barre and seemed interested acknowledging vaccines. I am scared and already designing a wc :(:(
