IVIG advice
 

Could anybody advise me as to where to go for IVIG therapy? Is there a gold standard in this type of treatment? Live near manhattan so anybody local have experience with this? thx

your neurologist will set up your IVIG appointments. I've been on IVIG since Jan 2015. Your frequency / treatment will depend on your disease . Keep us informed best to you... Jim

I went through my rheumo to get it. They will set it all up for you. Many neuros and rheumos have infusion rooms in their practices. That's where I get mine. Your doctor has to request them through your insurance company. Sometimes it can be a fight so if it is hang in there. They refused when my neuro requested them so he told me to have my rheumo try and he got the ok.
