Circulation issues in feet/legs?

I still have no official dx, (what is with these 20+ docs I've seen!) but from what I read on this board, it certainly seems to be small fiber.

My circulation is impacted - feet turn red and lacey patterned past my ankles. Only when my feet are in the down, motionless position. When I walk or keep them moving, it's much better. Disappears completely when they are elevated.

My nerve symptoms are all over my legs - twitching, rumbling, vibrating, buzzing, pain, cramping and grinding. And the most strange inner great toe pain - just on the very edge of my toe. When I tell doctors this, they think I'm crazy!!

I do not have CMT and have strength, balance, feeling, reflexes - a normal clinical exam. But it is progressing over the past two years.

I wonder if it is really circulatory?

I'm miserable and have adjusted my supplements, so hopefully something will give.

Anyone else?

Autonomic nerves control circulation so if your autonomic system is damaged or being attacked it can cause circulatory problems.

Hi Eskiemom,

The deep peroneal nerve innervates a small area between the big and second toe. Take a peek at a dermatome map of nerves of the foot and see if that correlates to your big toe pain...

You might consider some Lidoderm patches... 1/2 patch applied to the top of the foot, is enough for most PNers. 1/2 patch behind the knee may also help...it will numb the peroneal nerve and I find that location better sometimes than the foot.
