Itchy soles of feet

Last night my feet were insane! I couldn't fall asleep because the soles of my feet were itching. The nerve activity seems to be really affecting my feet for the past few days with numbish spots and electrical feelings when stepping down. What's up with the itchiness?

I'm pretty sure that itchiness can be a part of SFN. Right before my initial burning started last year, my arms and legs were getting uncomfortably itchy.

It is from the neuropathy. That's actually how my neuro figured out my symptoms were related to neuropathy. I went in and told him my arms itched so much they were all bruised from me scratching at them. He said, " I'm pretty sure I know what this is." Then he scheduled a skin biopsy.

sitting on my perch, I would know at least 5 words, Mortons Epsom Salt Lotion. Good Luck, Ken in Texas.

I get that. It's either because my feet are too warm or they need some lotion or both. It drives me crazy because the skin on the bottom of my feet is so thick I can't feel the scratch. :winky: I just keep putting lotion on them til they soften up.

The itching is from neuropathy - nerves. That is true for a CMTer. Sometimes it drives you up a wall as there is nothing there but it comes on in different places (feet) at different times.
