Mind over matter with bat

Tonight we had our first bat experience ever. I realized after the bat excitement that I managed to get upstairs, grab my crutches, shut all the doors, get a long handled duster and come back downstairs quickly to shut the downstairs doors. I also walked around the living room without my crutches for about a minute before I realized what I was doing.

I wondered if I had an adrenaline rush which enabled me to suddenly move fast or another part of my brain responded to get me moving.

This incident reminded me of something I read about Parkinsons. if "FIRE" was shouted, PDer's in wheelchairs would get up and run outside.

hi bio. i believe the mind is very powerful and maybe it distracted you enough to do what you had to do even though you were in pain. hope you get that adrenaline rush again to help you forget your pain! hugs.

hey....

no matter if it was adrenaline or a hidden superpower that's impressive! You really deserved to give yourself a pat on the back for your valiant effort.

so glad to hear it for you!
