OT - But Important

I found this on another PD website (thanks Cathy!) and thought is was pretty amazing. When I go and talk to people, I constantly preach the message found in this presentation that I hope you'll take the time to watch. We all hold the power to change another person's life for the better, every single day. Don't be afraid to use it.

You're all awesome...

Wonderful

Todd that is a great message. Even without the emotional effects of PD I'm sure I'd have shed a tear watching that.

Thanks for sharing.

beautiful

Todd,

That was absolutely beautiful!!!
It was so heart warming.
Our pastor told the story in a sermon recently.
But to see it and hear it set to music
was truly inspirational.

Thank you for sharing it with us.

You're welcome - I hope others take a few moments and give it a look...

Sorry Todd

I viewed it a few days ago but for some reason was distracted but you are right...it is heartwarming and inspirational. And the fact that it was a truly heart felt "act of kindness"...not procured with reward in mind,or anything other than simply the desire to "give" ...makes it rich beyond measure.
How beautiful, and thank you for giving us the opportunity to observe such human kindness prompted by this persons genuine compassion for fellow human beings.
Steff

Todd

Still wiping a tear away. I have a soft spot for special needs people. Nothing gets to me more than for someone to not think that EVERYONE, regardless of ability, can contribute something. That's what I get as the crux of this message.

Although some of you feel totally helpless (and therein feel useless) because of PD's disabling symptoms and progression, we ALL have something that willl make people want to "line up" to hear our message. All you have to do is "believe in yourself" and "tell your story from the heart."

Thanks for sharing, Todd.

BTW how is your presentation on PD kids going? Ii will be presenting in Chicago at the YOPN Conference next week. I hope that can see your session.
Peg

We all have something to give. You just have to believe and take that first step.

Even the smallest pebble can make a ripple in the largest of ponds.
