Eye appointment
 

I finally called for an eye appt. it is on the eleventh at 4:30.
I also moved the cat food and sprayed the area for ants. i hope they the cats don't go near it.

it has gotten worse. the ants are moving some of the dry food to a different place. i bought something else terro but that hasn't seemed to work.
it is really hot out.

That's good about the eye appt.

I do not know how to get rid of ants except to get the professionals involved.


Our once a month guy came by to spray outside today.
Then he asked me if I needed him inside too.
Today I told him to just do the kitchen. (we do not really have any inside, but sometimes after he sprays outside they "migrate" inside.:eek:)

there is a guy who comes to the building on thursdays. i have used him in the past but it wasn't successful. I sprayed more with the ortho and most of the time the kitty cats were on the bed. I don't think they walked in it. I will start spraying every day and see if this ortho works. otherwise i will use the building guy and if that doesn't work after a while, i will hired another professional.

My guy said that the sprays that the non-professionals use only work "on contact." ~~ You have to spray directly on the ants to kill the them.

so far so good. i sprayed a couple of days ago and only saw two ants so far.
Thank God the kitty cats didn't go near the spray while it was drying. I don't know if i should another application yet. Maybe later this afternoon after they usually don't eat.
I was able to make the eye appointment and get over my dread to call because i told myself whatever God wants is for the best. I still can't let that overcome my fear of losing my apartment when situations come up.
