How do you pretend to be an Aussie cricketer?

You run out to the middle, you turn around and you walk right back to the grandstand.

60 for 10? :thud:

That one's for Dave. ;)

:D

Thanks Lara - a very ordinary effort from the Aussies.

I hope that Dave is enjoying the professional job that the Pommies have done :).

Absolutely dismal.

At $1000 a run, you'd think it would be incentive to make a century.

Outplayed. Outclassed.

Imagine if they'd played like that at home - at the MCG maybe - the fans'd be demanding a refund.

That performance gives even the Black Caps hope! :D

They get $1000 a run??? I would make them swim home - if they dare return.

Impressed with Root and our bowlers, even the catches have stuck.

Dave.

Dave, I hope that you enjoyed your well-earned victory in getting the Ashes back :).

We (writing as a semi-Aussie) need to learn from this. ODIs are fine as fun but don't get me started on T20s (shudders).

I hope that we can work out how to build an innings as batsmen and work out a plan as bowlers - that way we might be able to challenge you in the next Ashes series.

bluesfan 08-08-2015 03:34 PM

Well done to the English team. :winner_first_h4h:

I hope that bought a smile to your face Dave.

What a seesaw of a tournament.

EnglishDave 08-08-2015 04:19 PM

What I don't need to see is players from both sides crying on camera about the result. It's a game - Man Up!

Dave.

Lara 08-08-2015 04:32 PM

LOL too funny

Lara 08-08-2015 06:22 PM

I was just reading that Michael Clark will retire. Pity.
They're under a lot of pressure to perform I imagine.
28 centuries and 27 half-centuries
When Ponting retired at least there was Clark once he got his life in order. Can't imagine who'll replace him now. :Hum:
