Do you deal with Fibro or CFS? I don't have the vibrating/tingle issue. A friend went thru some issues recently with tingling all over body and she ended up with atrial fibrillation dx...Do you take enough magnesium? We have a huge thread on magnesium on the Vitamin area. Just thinking out loud.

Thinking over time, I may have had some arm tingling. But nothing to think about. I make sure my magnesium is optimal.

I have tingling often, mostly in my legs, along with a burning sensation. I occasionally get vibrations, they're very brief and intermittent.

I often have tingling in arms & legs. My hands & feet flip flop from numb to burning to just plain painful. Now, I do have the feeling of vibrations when my senses get overloaded. Those vibrations start in my skull, it feels like my brain is vibrating against the inside of my skull and then the vibrations continue down my spine and end as an electrical jolt and body jerks. I can not go to the movies, I do not drive at night, I can not watch or hear fireworks, exposure to fluorescent lights, loud noises, someone shaking or bumping my seat, etc. will all cause this vibration, electrical impulse, jolt reaction.

Remember, everyone is different. Everyone will not explain everything in the same way. These syndromes are unique for each person. I have Fibro. I wish you the best of luck.

I have had this feeling but mostly at night. I say that it feels like electricity is running through my body. It's not painful; just weird and annoying. I attribute this to my SFN.

I have small fiber neuropathy also and I have mentioned this in another forum (Neuropathy) My specialist says that fibro and SFN can go hand in hand, and I am wondering, out loud, if some of us fibro sufferers also have neuropathy and are attributing some of our symptoms to the wrong DX. I am not trying to dx anyone or make them worry that they may have another problem. But in reading and researching both syndromes, it is thought that fibro isn't just a muscle disease, but also a neurological problem in that the nerves/brain are telling the muscles to hurt (in a simplified definition). Since I have both fibro and SFN, sometimes I can tell which syndrome is affecting me and which one isn't and sometimes both. If my feet are numb and I'm having twitching; it's SFN. If my body hurts all over and I am so fatigued all i want to do is sleep; it's fibro. Of course, it's not that simple. The symptoms overlap. So, don't be too alarmed about the "electricity" running through your body, but do mention it to your rheumy. Also, read all you can by Dr. Daniel Clauw. Our Moderator put up some very valuable information about fibro from him. Excellent! Feel better.
