oops another memory mishap

Hi all, I had to take a spare class at school this morning and looked on the sheet which classroom block and room number it was in. Thought it must have been a primary room because I didn't recognise the building and room number.
Turns out it was in my High school area and a building that has been here since I have.
Just couldn't recognise or Identify with this. I have known this building block for 14 yrs

stress can play such havoc with memory and every day functioning. Hopefully you can get some answers soon.

Back in Dec when I was trying to go Christmas shopping, I was so disoriented I had difficulty finding my way back from a restroom in a store that I knew very well, to the place my mother was waiting for me. I had 4 months that I couldn't even drive. It was devastating. I am doing better with that now. Less confusion and brain fog and I can drive.

Also, don't forget that Lyrica and neurontin can cause these dementia type issues as well. While it may be helpful for some people with neuropathic pain it is known to cause confusion and forgetfulness.

Thank you healthgirl, yes it's frustrating and upsetting. I'm a little worried though because I have been having these problems well before I started taking Lyrica, even up to a few years ago. Have appointment with neurologist in 2 weeks.
I'm glad you are doing better, your help and that of others here is fantastic.

Have you had a sleep study? Often with neurological issues come sleep issues which can cause memory problems.

I had the sleep deprivation test to see if i was having some type of seizures which were the reason for my memory problems. But that test was clear.
