Went to RSD Walk Today

Just reporting in from the RSD walk in Central Park- What a perfect day...The weather was great! There were about 70 RSDers there-met and talked with new people -Met Jim Broatch from the RSDSA -He was very nice- Met a man with full body RSD who did the transcortical Stim (experimental tx) and had great results for about 40 days! Not sure how much money we raised- There were a lot of other disability groups there too.

Hope I am well enough to do it again next year!

Well done, Debbie, I'm so glad it went well -and that the weather was fine, makes such a difference.. were there many people around who wanted RSD explained to them? Must have been really interesting! Got any pix?

Walk

The people I met were all pro RSDers- talking a little meds and the neuro stimulation but mostly just enjoying the day- You felt a connection and didn't have to say much to know how everyone was feeling. Some were older, some younger - I just wished there was some kind of news coverage!

As soon as i get some pics from my frirends I will post them
