Lamictal

So, now this may be tried for me: Lamictal

I have not filled it yet.
FTR, I have been on pregablin, gabapentin, cymbalta.
Now with amitriptyline, lido patches, tramadol.

Any suggestions, experience?

I have small fiber neuropathy with no normal sensation. Painful to be touched and wear clothes (wearing cotton and silk to manage).

TIA

It's not a first line drug for SFN. In my opinion, it's because it doesn't have good enough results to even be considered as first line. I tried it... did nothing.

But everyone is different and what works for one, might not work for someone else...and vise versa.

Reminds me of how a lot of auto mechanics work. Just try things and hope something makes it run. :(

For me, hydrocodone SR helps. It doesn't resolve the pain but it takes the edge off and with PN, I need all the help I can get. I have many days when nothing helps and I have to be in fetal position in bed but otherwise, it helps.
