Do your limbs fall asleep really easily?
I dont know if ts a common symptom of peripheral neuropathy....
I have been reading about HNPP and my own symptoms are sort of similar but I am yet to experience any part of my body going completely dead or losing any real strength. However it often feels like my limbs fall asleep with very minimal pressure and also when I stretch. I still function normally even with the super annoying tingling/burning when I am having episodes. any thoughts? |
HNPP can also share many symptoms with thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) for short..
If you have done a lot of repetitive or desk work,or any prior whiplash / sports injury, TOS might be a possibility. Or if you have had other RSI injuries ? (carpal tunnel/ golfers elbow, etc) Those can set you up for TOS/TOS like conditions. Useful TOS forum sticky thread- http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread84.html |

My issues tend to be much more noticeable in my feet....so I kinda doubt its TOS. Though I am usually very physically active...... I also get tingling in my face though so i dont know if its a spinal thing. |
Ohh -- When I saw the HNPP and limbs I just started thinking arms...:o

My limbs go numb from the slightest pressure and my groin and thighs go numb from sitting in certain positions. I have to gently move around a lot. This came on with my polyneuropathy and I don't believe it is hnpp.

Me too. If I sit floor feet infront yup boom. At night my hands fall asleep....go numb. It wakes me up, I flip flop and it happens throughout.
