Nicotinamide Riboside may protect axons

I've been trying to improve my brain. Isn't everyone???

Actually I suspect my injuries came from lack of proper sleep and high dose prednisone.

I came across a possible new therapy and thought it may be of interest.

This is a news release regarding Nicotinamide Riboside for treating neurodegenerative diseases and brain injury.

This is a derivative of B-3, niacin. It is naturally occurring in milk. It's expensive at $0.80 per capsule with 2 capsules per day as the suggested dose. Unfortunately, it does not have a double blind study to show its efficacy.

I'll just stick with my niacin.
